I got this off NME, yes it is yest another cut and paste job on songs that make grown men cry… here are the top ten
1. ‘Everybody Hurts’ (REM) – It is a real good song from their short lived golden age
2. ‘Tears in Heaven’ (Eric Clapton) – I feel cynical about this but not so cynical I want to fun on a guy who lost his son.
3. ‘Hallelujah’ (Leonard Cohen) – I am very sick of this one
4. ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’ (Sinead O’Connor) – Ah, yes, from back when Prince wrote songsinstead of grooves.
5. ‘With or Without You’ (U2) -Without
6. ‘The Drugs Don’t Work’ (The Verve) – And that is as good a reason as any to have a good blubber
