Curse Of Cute Is What We Aim For Lifted by Helen Bach

Cute is What We Aim for had some great songs awhile ago. They put on a fantastic live show.

Then poof.

Gone.

With songs like “Risque” still getting consistent play on my iPod, and “Curse of Curves” getting the same I shrugged it off as another band that just couldn’t hold it together. Together since 2005, the band were the darlings of their label Fueled By Raman( headed up by Mr Pete Wentz), and headlined Alternative Press ‘Bands You Need To Know” tour in 2006. Great Great show.

And well.. perhaps it was all jsut growing pains cuz…

They’re back.

Slated to have a new release in early 2011,the band has paused to tour. Briefly, but none the less test driving their road life and new songs. Supported by support acts; Mercy Mercedes, Phone Calls From Home and Sunday Night Scene the show shouldn’t be missed if it rounds its way near you.
Here’s the dates.
