2. The Other Ones – The Hush Nows – Now it’s called alternative. Then it was called? Power pop.
3.Northern Islands – Blank Dogs – Sounds like it was recorded underwater but in a really cool way.
4. Slow Suite I. Grey – Rausch – I’ve been thinking about this guy all weekend and I still can’t decide what he is up to. I am gonna give Todd the album to review and I will just post on it here and there. He is a prog rock cousin Elton John and here writes a classically inspired singer-songwriter piece. My problem is one I sometimes have with new singers: I don’t much like his voice. I wrote that about Morrissey, to name one vocalist i love now, back circa “Hand In Glove”. This is interesting stuff.
