I just read on brooklynvegan where Screaming Females are gonna be the first act opening for Free Energy and Titus Andronicus at Webster Hall tonight!!!
Tickets are still available and with a door at 6pm, figure SF will be on stage at 7pm.
I wonder if Joe Steinhardt is in town? I haven’t seen him since the Don Giovanni (the SF’s label, Joe is co-owner) basement gig at Marissa’s home this summer in New Brunswick. Joe, an emotional guy as fans of For Science and Modern Hut are probably aware, must be getting used to his girlfriend being at college in Seattle. I bet he has been writing tons of new songs!
All three albums by the way, that would be Castle Talk for Screaming Females, Stuck On Nothing for Free Energy and album of the year The Monitor by Titus Andronicus are MUST OWNS.
