Australia’s Johanna Cranitch band Johanna And The Dusty Floors relocated to NYC and are about to release their debut EP The Forest on November 15th.
The song I’ve heard, “Forest Of Sorrows”, is lush and gorgeous orchestrated piano based AOR. Working behind a clapboard clicking it is almost ambient in its double tracked background vocals -especially when they join with Johanna in a wordless hook at the end.
