So there was a secret Weezer show yesterday in Hollywood, and I learnt about it too late! … Because, yeah, I work! It’s a shame, only people out of work can learn about these things on time.
It was at the Dunes Inn Hotel on Sunset Blvd, and apparently, the marketing team AXE (yes, the deodorant, shower gel & hair products) was organizing the Weezer AXE Music One Night Only Show.
During the evening, I kind of followed what happened through AXE’s tweets and facebook account:

‘Rivers is rocking our world right now…on a trampoline! Check out Weezer performing Troublemaker! They are tearing up the stage! What do you think they’ll play next?’
‘What’s that I smell? Rivers Cuomo just had a fan spray him with some AXE body spray. The women are going nuts.’
‘This is a Perfect Situation. ‘I’ve come undone! Jorge Garcia (aka Hurley) has taken the stage with Weezer to perform! Can it get any better? You can destroy my sweater! –

It seems it was a great show’

It seems it was a lot of fun, however, there were some problems and many fans who had been waiting on line for hours and hours, were told at the last minute they could not get in. Some fans even said the show was mostly for AXE, the media and the VIP, a lot of VIP, at least 200!
A lot of people are angry about this, not a good thing for Weezer!
But never mind, and I would not pretend to pass this for a review.
