As a Fine Art Photographer I strive to find a new interpretation of scenes and images that are familiar.

In 2010, I began entering my images in regional, national and international photographic print competitions. I have been extremely fortunate that my images have won more than 40 regional, national, and international awards.

In the 2013 Professional Photographers of America (PPA) International Photographic Competition, all four of my image entries were accepted into the PPA General Collection, and two images were accepted into the PPA LOAN COLLECTION.”

So says Bob Klein, a work colleague at an advertising for decades now and one of the most gifted photopgrahers I know. Klein does two things and he does them very well:

He takes pictures

He paints them

Well not paints, paint suggests something tactilic and Klein doesn’t take a brush to his pictures, he manipulates their shadings online, deepening with sepia colorings  on rainy day photos or sharpening all images so it overwhelms you with bright yellows on pictures from India, or, here on this one of a Springsteen rehearsal before the 2009 Superbowl, by making the sight heavenly, otherworldly and thick as the cream at the top of a bottle of milk.

I’ve been beggin Klein to go pro for a couple of years and the birth of Bob Klein Pholtography here is a giant leap: “All of the images you see on the website are available for sale, if you like my work and would like to contact me to purchase an image or collection, or just learn about my next exhibition, my email is bob.klein@gmail.com.”
