The So So Gos have been around in one way or another all of the three brothers, Adam and Levine Levine and step brother Zach Staggers lives, forming ibands in their native Brooklyn.
Studying the gospel according to Jooey Ramone, So So Gos are a hard hitting, melodic, very New York band and I hear they kill live.
There is a debut album from 2008 somewhere but what I have heard is their “Lindy Hop” which opens with a keen bass lick and flies off into rock and roll dance heaven. You gotta trust me on this one: if a band is gonna name a song afters a 1920s and sing “Suicide is in style” for the first line they better forward the the thrills They do.
Plus: the drummer is killer.
