Obviously, unless your name is the Beatles you have to get into bed with itunes. I am not debating it.
But you don’t have to shill for the scumbags as Lady Gaga has been doing for Ping the past coupla days and huess what happens when you do? Ping (aka Itunes aka Apple) fucking censor you. That’s all.
Lady Gaga has heralded for pots of money the thoroughly ghastly ping social network by allowing her tweets to be followed on Ping and guess what the purveyors of the most socially liberal artform (music) did. According to Gawker, they censor you. Ping deleted Lady Gaga’s tweets applauding the defeat of the anti-gay marriage Platform 13.
I don’t consider myself excessively liberal by any stretch of the imagination but the repulsive and ridiculous refusal to allow two people in love to marry is a law I think just about everybody with half a brain can want the repeal of.
The pathetic Pings deletion of the tweets is a little (though much smaller) version of Google bowing to the Chinese leaders censoring their product. Here Ping is fellating the irrational views of ultra conservative advertisers.
Good thing they didn’t call themselves Pink -the wankers.
