Tune-Yards, Plethora Of Other Stars For Plastic Ono Band On The West Coast by Alyson Camus

A plethora of guests have been announced through Golden Voice’s twitter for the Yoko One Band shows on October 1st and 2nd at the Orpheum theater in Los Angeles:

Wu-Tang Clan member Rzawu, princess Leia Carrie Fisher and her ex step-son Harper Simon, multi-task Vincent Gallo,  rock nyc faves Tune-Yards (whose debut album ‘Bird-Brains’ was described as ‘somewhere between Aretha Franklin and Yoko Ono’ by The New York Times), and Jane’s Addiction frontman, Perry Farrell.
At the top of these guests, there will be different ones each night: Mike Watt and Nels Cline, and Iggy Pop on October 1st, and on October 2nd, Sonic Youth’s Thurston Moore & Kim Gordon and this is huge….. Lady Gaga (what about that Madonna?)
Both shows will be under the musical direction of Sean Ono Lennon and backed by Yuka Honda and Cornelius (Keigo Oyamada, Shimmy Hirotaka Shimizu and Yuko Araki).
