The great French DJ David Guetta, maybe the best DJ and also one of the best producers working today, said he is planning on working with Rihanna on a song.
This is precisely what Rihanna needs. While it might seem counter-intuitive to claim that a woman who sang on the most popular song of the year after Katy, is screwing up her career, Rated R was the sort of unmitigated disaster that lead to cancelled shows across the States. I would hope Rihanna might listen to Guetta who would NEVER EVER let her get away with a simply bad song like “Russian Roulette” and then, worse, allow it to to be the first single.
In other news, Guetta’s next album should be released Summer 2011.
