Jeffree Star is most often seen as a joke or an idol or somebody to completely hate. But even if you hate someone, they don’t deserve to go through the loss of a loved one.
12 years ago, his biological father passed away. He was young, lost, and fatherless. When his dad’s brother, Philip Steininger, stepped up, Star was finally with guidance from whom he now called “Dad”.
Just yesterday morning, Philip passed away.
And about half an hour ago, on his Facebook page, he posted a picture with him, Philip, and his mom and put “I feel so empty… yesterday morning my father passed away. He was my birth dad’s brother and was one of the only people I truly loved and adored with all my heart. He took the roll my real father couldn’t fulfill when he died 12 years ago… now this. Unreal. I feel like a piece of my soul is gone. I love you Philip Steininger. Always & forever.” Jeffree’s fans are writing all over his page sending condolences for this hard time.
Jeffree’s a strong soul and will no doubt pull through this. He’s not playing shows, and cancelled a few to get through this difficult time. I’m keeping his family in my prayers and thoughts.
