Weezer covered MGMT’s Kids at the US Open of surfing in Huntington Beach yesterday, and the enormous crowd got wild, screaming and dancing.
River Cuomo got excited too and threw to the audience ‘Let’s get dirty’ before beginning the infectious rhythm of ‘Kids’, all synthesizers and drums unleashed.
I know they did it before but I did not expect it, which shows how much I know about Weezer!
But why did I think it was the best song of the show?
