The great young bass singer Paolo Szot is back in South Pacific and now cock eyed optimist Kelli O’Hara is back as well so if you haven’t seen the Lincoln Center’s as God intended it revival of Rodgers And Hammerstein’s “South Pacific” now is absolotely the time to do it.
It is not possible to speak highly enough about this production. Kelli is good enough to stand out of Mitzi Gaynor’s shadow and it made Paolo an instantaneous superstar (though he was a bit iffy at Summerstage last year.
