On what should have been my vacation I set up a ton of concerts and then I couldn’t take much of my vacation.
Still went to a lotta concerts at I review em all here and quite a few were the definition of cutting edge.

Natalia Fourcate – Alt rock pop star Mexcian style Grade: B
Los Amigos Invisbles: Best first 20 minutes of the year. Grade: A-
Total Slackers – New drone rockers with a killer guitarist. Grade: A-
Smith Westerns – Glam alt bad boys. – Grade: B+
Wavves: Shambolic but not too shambolic and improves in my memory. Grade: A
Holy Ghost! – Disco band. Grade: B+
Hercules And Love Affair: Dance band: Grade: A-
Hot Chip: Limey pop group plus electronica. B+
Spoon: Opening acters. Grade: B+
Arcade Fire: On a PC near you. Grade: A-
