Now this I understand: “Bright Eyes, Cursive and other Nebraska music acts will perform at a concert to raise money to fight a law that would ban the hiring of or renting to illegal immigrants in the Nebraska city of Fremont. The Concert for Equality on Saturday in Omaha’s Benson neighborhood will include two simultaneous shows – one outside and the other indoors at the Waiting Room. Tickets cost $20 to $50, and proceeds from the sold-out concert go to the American Civil Liberties Union of Nebraska, one of two civil rights groups who have sued the city of Fremont.”
There is only one side to this story. It is a terrible law and good for Conor and the Saddlecreek crew.
But.
Why doesn’t Conor go one step further and BOYCOTT OMAHA?
Silly idea, right. It is his home state -how can he not play where he (sometimes) lives. Right??? Right????
Arizona on the other hand…
