Craig Owens, charismatic former front man of Chiodos tweeted he is moving to California to begin recording a new album
Mr Owens, who we had the pleasure of seeing solo at Club Hell in Providence RI awhile back (search the rocknyc- we covered it) has become quite interactive with his fans. Facebook Owens actually interacts with his ‘fans’ unlike Bryce Avary of The Rocket Summer who uses the forum as a news blast but does not respond to comments.
I have mixed feelings on Owens. I have seen some behavior that I find rather, hmmm arrogant, no loss foe ego there. But I have also witnessed him switch over to professional when need be. I can chalk that up to immaturity.
Overall a great performer.
But the purpose of this is not to chit chat about Owens, but rather to attempt to figure out why someone would have to MOVE to another state to record.
I mean seriously how long is it going to take?
I suppose we will soon find out.. weird tweet man, weird.
