Upon being friended by Mikey Wax on Myspace, I was eager to give him a listen, and I’m glad I did.
“Hourglass” reminds me of a coffee shop sort of feel with a hook I can’t quite put my finger on but it keeps me captivated. Not a bit of boredom upon listening to this song, which is refreshing.
As for “Halfway Gone”, it’s so incredible it gives me goose bumps. It feels like a hug when you listen to it, making it a great pick-me-up. By far my favourite song on his page. It’s completely perfect and wonderful.
“So Crazy” is so addictive. It’s a beautiful song and the melody’s interesting, and the whole image it puts into my head is just pure happiness.
Mikey Wax is incredible and will be on my play lists for quite a while.
