Matthew Leone, the bassist for Medina Lake, after undergoing an intense and brutal beating and spending a lot of time in the hospital, is being helped financially by an organization called Through The Pain.
Through The Pain are holding two benefit concerts. One on August 21st at Double Door Chicago with bands AM Taxi, The Fold, David Costa, and The Lifeline. It’s 21+ and tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door. The second concert is on August 22nd at Hard Rock Hotel Chicago.
The bands playing include Kill Hannah, Love Hammers, The Frantic, Makeshift Prodigy, and Scott Lucas of Local H. This show is all ages and the price is the same.
There will also be a silent auction at both shows. Tickets are available at ThroughThePain.org. If you’re in the area I strongly recommend attending for Matthew. His heroic actions deserve to be honored and recognized.
