Even if I liked Tweedy’s songs, which, with exceptions, I don’t, I’d still think he suxd for firing his band after they stood by him during the Yankee Hotel Foxtrot debacle with Reprise records.
So now Wilco’s contract with Nonesuch Records has expired and Tweedy is considering his next move.
Here’s some suggestions:
1. Retire
2. Take a six year sabbatical ala Timberlake.
3. And then retire.
4. Form a new band, Uncle Twito
5. And retire before you release anything.
6. None stop touring but only in your house.
7. Don’t share your new recordings with the world -file share with Phil Collins
8. And then retire
9. Form a supergroup with Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams
10. And then retire before recording anything.
