Daniel Cho, the cellist for the wonderful Regina Spektor, drowned in Lake Geneva, Switzerland, July 6
Cho, attended the Berklee College of Music and was currently living in Brooklyn, N.Y.
The talented Daniel Cho had also worked with Katy Perry, John Mayer, Coldplay, and many more, along with having a band of his own.
The acccident occured a day before Spektor’s scheduled performance at the Montreux Jazz Festival.
Spektor did not cancel but instead took the stage after the incident. Distraught and at times in tears, Regina would take breaks to get herself together between songs.
