Nathan Leone, brother of Matthew Leone, updated his blog with interesting news.
Matthew is making good progress and on July 16th, will have surgery so doctors can re-apply the part of his skull they were forced to remove to lessen brain swelling
I’m most certainly going to keep him in mind, and in my prayers. I am hopeful he has a quick and healthy recovery.
The man who beat his wife and Matthew was arrested for Aggravated Battery Causing Serious Bodily Injury, which in every way, shape, and form he deserves.
I agree with Nathan when he said “I’ll never understand violence in general… violence against women is simply appaling.”
Nathan Leone continues to thank everyone for every ounce of support they’ve been giving to the band and that it’s all been a huge part of Matt’s recovery.
Even though incidents like this sometimes prove that a lot of humanity is horrible and violent, people like Mathew shed light on the world and make up for a lot of them.
I’ll be keeping Matt, a huge inspiration of mine
and one of my favourite bassists, in my thoughts and prayers.
Let’s all hope he’s fights himself well again.
