Holiday In The Car by Mary Magpie

If you have a 7 hour car ride like me to wherever you’re vacationing, the only thing that’s gonna save you is a satisfying playlist.
1. Your English is Good- Tokyo Police Club. Great lyrics, super catchy beats, and an English accent. What more could you want?
2. Summer Hair= Forever Young- The Academy Is…. This entire album (Fast Times At Barrington High) is a great summer album, but this song’s lyrics and title make it totally summer-playlist-worthy.
3. California- Metro Station. This song on repeat will make the 7 hours feel like a bit less.
4. Passenger Seat- The Summer Set. Definitely an addictive song and having summer fever while listening to it makes it that much better.
5. Pulling a Piano From a Pond- Cinematic Sunrise. It’ll make you want to take up piano if you can’t play it already.
6. Call It Love- TV/TV. This song is absolutely perfect and one to suggest to anybody who’s looking for new music.
7. Break Your Little Heart- All Time Low. All Time Low now isn’t all that great, but this song will definitely get you pumped up.
8. Not Good Enough For Truth Or Cliche- Escape the Fate. This song, suggested by my boyfriend, isn’t exactly what I had in mind for my summer playlist, but after listening to it, I realized that it’s absolutely perfect for rockin’ out and smiling, singing like nobody’s listening.
9. Fit But You Know It- The Streets. Be careful not to injure yourself trying to dance in the car.
10. Get Close- Call The Cops. Call The Cops will definitely be my band of the summer.
Happy vacation! 😀
