No, not that Shea Stadium -jerk.
The nightclub in Corona,Queens, where after Wavves gig at the Knitting Factory, (with rock nyc faves cloud nothings opening), the after party at Shea was brought to a near complete end after some kid threw a bottle at a cop car and brought the police in to stop the party (how this happens, I am not certain… some arm from inside a club to the streets).
Any way the cops let it go on and in the wee hours Patrick along with Ruyan something or other from the stupendously boring pitchfork DJ’d.
As an aside, you wanna know how many musicians I am friends (or ever have been. Here is the entire list
( )
Wanna see it again?
Anyway, to each his own and God against all but who wants to pal up? I am way to antisocial to wanna be buddies -geez, isn’t life hard enough without sucking up to rock stars? Not that Ryan what’s his face is doing that, but all these guys presenting rock shows have completely crossed the line between magazine and musician. If you are paying em to play for you, where is ANY SENSE AT ALL of integrity. Watta buncha wets. Talk about symbiotic relationships…
Anyway, that has nothing to do with anything. Patrick posted his DJ set on the Titus Andronicus blog and the Weezer remix is awesome. And you can have it for free along with the entire 24 minute set!! Enjoy…
