The Hold Steady, “Our Whole Lives” at first listen I thought Graham Parker had a new band. He doesn’t.
Um… first listen reminds me of Graham Parker in a bar singing on a wooden floor and 1 ft stage.

The lyrics are adorable. They’re poppy but they get a point across

OK I’m not sure what this guy is up to, but I think he was my mortgage broker.
“Our Whole Lives”, is a great song lyrically and musically, but vocally pass.
I like songs that have meanings and I like lambs so I’m down with this.
I just would have preferred a different set of pipes.
