Wendy Dio, widow and former manager of Ronny James Dio is lashing out at tribute albums.
Apparently they are not donating proceeds to the “Stand Up and Shout” cancer fund.
I can understand the passion of a cause, Lord knows I soap box often enough but pardon me aren’t their ‘royalties’ being paid.?
Ms Dio are you investing those into your fund?
Personally I think keeping the departed Dio in the limelight is sufficient. To tell me what to do with the proceeds (and lets face it these aren’t Billboard top11000 sales) is out of bounds.
How about this
Get your ass out of the business, hire a nice attorney to handle what royalties are to be disbursed and quit being another bitter bitch wife of a rocker.
