With Fall Out Boy fresh and feeling new, they kind of have the luxury to slack off. Their successful new album, an incredible tour, and tons of new fans put them up for the opportunity to coast. But they aren’t.
The band will be releasing a punk album, “Pax-Am Days”. This album was recorded in just two days. The band is out of control and pumping out new things like a machine. And it’s not crap, either. November 29th, “Pax-Am Days” will come out as a digital release. October 15th, it’ll be a physical release bundled with “Save Rock and Roll”- FOB’s first double album.
The “Pax-Am Days” vinyl will be limited edition and be released on Black Friday. The band is playing a release show for it in Chicago on Black Friday to celebrate, and a portion of the ticket sales will go to the GRAMMY foundation. The support hasn’t been announced yet and there’s no real ideas yet, but the tickets go on sale October 5th.
Here’s the track listing for “Pax-Am Days”:
We Were Doomed From The Start (The King Is Dead)
Art Of Keeping Up Disappearances
Hot To The Touch, Cold On The Inside
