Superchunk are one of those bands I should dig more than I do and for once it isn’t because either a) they are overated or b) I am deaf but c) they’ve been around so long I kinda missed the boat on em and also d) I didn’t like the band name.
But the new pop single “Digging For Something” is fabulous flash flood of melodic glory with a break where they take it down an octave people fuziing you out with great guitar and a tuneful jamasaurus ending.
Really fantastic Go on to stereogum but come back.
