1. My Girl Josephine – Fats Domino – It was always feels like of all the first graduates of rock and roll, Fats gets relegated to the also rans. Here is proof again he was anything but, just wait for the horn on the bridge – A
2. Wichita Lineman – Kevin Jenkins – A tougher song that you might think, if only because Glen owns it, but this is a credible version with a spectacular solo similar to the one on Glen’s current version, though recorded long before it! – A-
3. Candlelit Bedroom – Elton John – John’s best song since 1994 is his most melodic since even earlier, a tuneful low key with a chorus that will remind you why you loved him so much – A
4. I I Wanna Rock – JJ McCabe And The Fallen Angel – Sweet little rock and roller with a ramones-y break – B+
5. Wu Tang Forever – Drake – Another oddity from an eccentric album but not Yeezus eccentric – B+
6. The Mother We Share – Chvrches – Very good indie synth song from Glasgae – B+
7. All Me – Drake – Only Drizzy could make 2 Chainz sound as though is he is ODing on codeine – B
8. Don’t Matter – Kings Of Leon – I am very impressed with these guys, this is the fourth song I’ve really liked on the album… However, I will hold off a final assessment till I catch em live tomorrow – B+
9. Long Hard Road – Alan Jackson – Gritty stuff, even by Jackson’s standards – B+
10. Stay The Night – Zedd And Hayley Williams – This is EDM? Sure is, this guy broke in remixing Skrillex – B
