Here’s an idea.
If the labels wanna sell albums, why don’t they hold the price of a single song ot a buck twenty niine and lower the album price to $7.99? Think that would jumpstart album sales in a big way.
So what are the thieving scumbags at itunes and the major labels doing? They are raising the price of an album to $11.99, $12.99 for the new Devo, $13, $14… why? How in the middle of a mammoth music business wide depression do they justify raising album prices by upwards of 30% when they have no manufacturing and no distribution fees?
Aren’t there people in the government mean to protect us from price gouging?
I am a capitalist NOT A MONOPOLIST.
This is completely insane. The record industry is going bankrupt and these fucking morons are raising their prices.
Steve Jobs is a complete fucking asshole and the entire record industry are going to hell.
