Who is Emii, you ask?
I am not really sure though my friend Woody Fuller and I will be interviewing her on Wednesday.
I’ve checked out Emii’s facebook and watched her video and this I do know
A) She is from Los Angeles
B) My friend Melissa Berlin is handling PR
C) She has played all over the place and is at Don Hill’s tomorrow (goes on at 8pm)
D) The single, “Magic”, is a Gaga knockoff but a good one.
E) The rest of the CD is prolly closer to where she’s at: at it’s best, “Baby, I Can’t Help Myself” has some of the power of a youug Pretenders, though the lyric is a bit generic.
D) The rest of the album is pretty good…
F) But whoever told Emii to do that “Magic” song knew exactly what they were doing
H) Did I mention she’s a lttle knockout?
