As part of the Richard Thompson curated meltdown festival in the UK on Sunday, a tribute to the great Canadian folk singer Kate McGarragle who died earlier this year at the age of 63, occurred.
The review in the daily telegraph is pretty good and I will put the link at the end but, her daughter Martha Wainwright breaking down, Richard Thompson reuniting with his ex-wife Linda for the first time in decades, and Rufus Wainwright ending the evening must have been incredible.
