“Fall To Pieces” by Velvet Revolver is by far one of the most powerful songs I have ever heard. Ive written of it a million times along with my homage to Scott Weiland.
There is something so very disturbing in the yell, you feel the fall to pieces. Part of me wants to save him, part of me thinks its sexy to watch him fall apart.
So now word comes that Slash is looking for a new singer for Velvet Revolver.
He cant.
This side project of Slashy Duffy and Scotty would lose its dynamic if Weiland was replaced. Where is the desperation without him?
It would be just another replacement band.
Lets face it Sammy Haggar fronting Van Halen was a fatal error. Dave may have been a dick, but he was Dave.
Scott is a waste but hes Scott. Lets leave it.
OK so everyone is busy.. solo tours, new STP, ok ok.. but that’s not forever. I mean every ones career will mellow a bit and well then they can all get back together!

Slash spoke with Rolling Stone.com in an interview that was published on Monday and says that Velvet Revolver plan to resume their search for a new vocalist once he finishes touring is support his own record.
I promise you I will hate it.
Slash is a tool. Him and his big dumb hat.
But hes not going for someone famous- hes gonna help a no name.

“It’s really hard to do something with a voice that’s already really well known in an original band,” Slash says. “We want someone who is really good that hasn’t been recognized by the whole country as being amazing, but somebody who is just on the precipice of just being discovered.”
Again, your lead singer is your band. No one cares about the guitarist, no one knows his name.
Scott or no one.
