Jimi Hendrix fronts a hip hop band with metal aplenty. That’s the concept behind David E. Beats and the WHite House Band -a very strong, almost overpowering hard rock band from Brooklyn.
Brand new, they were formed in february, they call themselves “New Vouge” which means they’ve heard of Led Zep. On the strength of their first song “I’m On (The Bond Song)” they will be making many friends soon, as much of a party band as Shinobi Ninja though without the Shinobi kids playfulness, they muscle themselves in the way the town bully might: demanding a pride of place.
And hitting on all cylinders on their facebook videos, along with being a contender to have MTVU air their video (which they should probably win) , you should catch em before a major signs up.
Also? A perfect twofer would be Shinobi and these guys.
