Fiona Apple has a new song out!!!
Discovered it on Stereogum -it is a part of the Kids for Literacy thingy, written by children in a songwriting class and recorded by rock bandsincluding Cold War Kids and the Dum Dum Girls, and Fiona Apple and Jon brion’s version of “So Sleepy”.
The song is a besotted nursery rhyme while explodes in drums and it is so innocent and yet serious at the same time (the verse goes “Keep it down, keep it down.. ” just like your parents.
Pretty awesome stuff.
