This one though tugged at my heartstrings a bit and well doesn’t make sense so some details must be being kept discreet.
Anarbor drummer Greg Garrity, took a fall. Photographs appear to be in a restaurant. But the injuries sustained have caused the band to cancel the entire Japanese tour.
In a public message;
“To our Japanese fans, I regret to inform you that we will not be playing the Beyond the Blue tour this year. We are very sorry about this incident. Thursday morning Greg was injured very badly, it would be best for us to fly home for him to get the medical & family support that he needs. We have done everything in our power to proceed with the tour, but unfortunately there is nothing we can do. If you are attending the shows, kick rock music is giving away free pens in Osaka and Nagoya in our regard and has made a special Anarbor stickers for the fans going to the last three shows in Tokyo. Once again we are very sorry and we will be back very soon. For updates on how Greg is doing you can visit our website www.Anarbor.net and this Tumblr. Kick Rock Music has promised to bring us back to Japan as soon as possible. We will see you very soon Japan.”
Just reading that makes me sad. I do hope he gets well, I do almost hope the facts of the scenario are not leaked. The photographs are rather unnerving.
I will hope and pray for recovery and leave it at that.

The Country Throwdown has cancelled four dates due to, get this, poor sales. No really, all those tours to move to amphitheatres or rehearse more, or broken backs and broken legs and just be cause they weren’t in the mood. And only country newcomers Eric Church and Jamey Johnson couldn’t sell tickets.
I have a theory to dd to the smany self evident reasons for the poor sales… last year people were broke and many realized the big arena $150 tix for meh seats was not something they really needed. This year the tour managers are paying for it and Bon Jovi, the smarmy assholes, are giving away twofers tosell out and the Eagles four tix ackages to the Giants Stadium gig.
