Yeah, I’ve seen Limp Bizkit on stage twice. Once they were great (just before they hit big) and the following time (on the way down) they were terrible.
So my bet is scrapping the tour is a great idea (more bands should, U2… you knmow the joke) though their plan to move it to larger venues is sure a risky move.
Is there a market for these guys?
Speaking of which, there is a good article in the current Stone about LiveNation 360 degree deal with the Eagles -guaranteeing the Eagles (along with the Dixie Chicks and Keith Urban) $3M a show. The result? Livenation upped their top tix through the roof and the concerts aren’t selling out.
