In yesterdays’ New York Daily News Jim Farber claimed the Sex In The City 2 theme by Leona Lewis and Jennifer Hudson sounded like Cyndi Lauper’s “True Colors”.
So I streamed it.
And Jim is right.
If you can imagine the worst version of “True Colors” known to man.
I guess you know what to expect what you get two talent show contestants from either side of the pond emotion for women.
Leona comes off a little better because she leaves the over acting to Jennifer Hudson who does to the song what she has done to every song since she won an oscar for that one where she gets dumped by Marvin Gaye or something.
By the end Hudson and Lewis sound as if they are waiting to be rounded up with the other feral cats by M. Kriss.
