In Which Dan Aquilante loses his mind

Here are the first two sentences of Dan Aquilant ‘s useless review of a-ha yesterday:
“There was an a-ha moment at the Nokia Theatre Thursday night — and it came from a fan who says the ’80s synth-pop relics have always been underrated.

“Everybody talks about Depeche Mode, the Cure and Duran Duran, but a-ha is just as influential,” said Lower East Sider James Rodriguez, 30″.
And thus the New York Post  rock critic ar large heads straight for the looney bin.
I have no idea what is going on with this fruit and nutcase. Why has he taken a quote or quotes from audience members every live review for the past week. Is he slipping by us. These are 250 word reviews in which he wastes 50 of them on Nothing.
I got in ouch wit one of Aquilante’s peers who suggested maybe his editor wanted a consensus.

Maybe.
I think eithr
a) aquilante has lost the plot or
b) his editors think he is no going to concerts and want proof he is.
One thing is for sure, the uy is a shitty writer.
Oh and Bob Lefsetz  has a  review of Pete Grabrie love patiently waitingl  in my inbox. It begins with a quote from “Solsbury Hills”. I haven’t read it yet but I think i we can safely nominate it for the worst review ever written by any one anywhere ever about anything.
