That peaceful, easy feeling is you napping during the deep album cuts

It is strange that even at this late date,  the Eagles can provoke so much distaste… from me as well. Really, listen to the Blue Album Greatest hits and “New Kid In Town” and you don’t need anything else. “Hotel California” is “Desperados Of The Eaves” for people who think they’re deep but aren’t  or come from Cali or both. Don Henley wouldn’t know a deep thought if it tap danced on his drum set. Henley’s concept of a deep thought is worrying at  Grateful Dead stickers on Cadillacs.

Glenn Fry is the Brett Michaels of classic rock.

And the last time I saw them, on the Road To Eden tour they were rotten.

But… they have maybe 10 great songs and I am interested in whether they really botch up or only kinda botch up the “History Of The Eagles”. I mean, as histories go this one doesn’t have all that many chapters. Record a coupla big albums and spend the rest of your life flogging em seems to sum it up.

I got a nosebleed, which reminds me, the floor sections now go “A, B, C” followed by “1, 2, 3” so if you get the last row of section “3” you will be paying top dollar for the worst seat in the house.  The nosebleed I bought at a third the price is closer. That peaceful easy feeling is me snoozing during the interminable deep album cuts.
