“… highlights including the African singer Baaba Maal (June 14), Meshell Ndegeocello with Martha Wash (June 19), McCoy Tyner and others for George Wein’s CareFusion Jazz Festival (June 23), Gil Scott-Heron (June 27), Jimmy Cliff (July 11), a comedy night with stars from “The Daily Show” (July 21), the singer St. Vincent (Aug. 1), the British band the XX (Aug. 8), Public Enemy (Aug. 15) and the reunited ska band the Specials (Aug. 22). Benefit concerts, which are not free, include the Flaming Lips on July 26, the Black Keys on July 27 and 28, and one of Pavement’s four concerts there, on Sept. 21.
