The Wild, The Innocent, The 6th Street by Mary Magpie

6th Street is a band that everyone should know about. They’re creative, they’re unique, and they’re not afraid to take risks.

“Angels Falling” is a gorgeous song that just makes me want to play it one hundred times. I can’t seem to get enough of the quietly brilliant song that I’ve heard nothing like before. I can imagine myself quietly yet excitedly mouthing along the words shamelessly. It’s a great song and it’s beautiful.

“Never Gone” is covered with super glue because it gets stuck in your head so easily. You can just lose yourself and the beat stays constant. Not a single flaw or one part that I don’t like, it is a perfect song. The lyrics are great too and make the song that much better.

“Not A Stone” gets you hooked in the first ten seconds. An attention grabbing song, it comes in from every angle and is still pleasing to the ear. 6th Street seems to have a talent for doing their own thing and having people not question it. They pull off this song without a question asked, and they do it wonderfully.

“TryandStopLove” is by far my favourite song by 6th Street. It reminds me a lot of some of the music I listen to, but no singer I know has the same voice. It gives the band an edge, which is hard to come by. 6th Street has that edge, and a bit more.

6th Street is a phenomenal band who are extremely talented and everyone should consider sneaking onto their iTunes library
