Since I returned to work on Friday I have not had the time to transcribe anymore interviews from my trip to Odessa records, though I am looking forward to it.
At some point today or tomorrow I wanna review the thrilling Odessa compiliation. Paul Finn said, not inaccurately, that he retained price integrity on the compiliation because if he broke it, music fans would think it was a devalued product.
It ism’t and Inspector 22, featuring a full band, is proof of that. A classic rock midtempo number with a strangely autistic vocal, “Don’t eat my friend, cannibal” is how the chorus foes and the songs is as strange and yet compelling as the chorus suggests.
