Streaming mp3 website, bought by Apple last year, is closing down effective May 31st.
I am very surprised. I agree with the industry wide opinion that streaming pay to play websites are a huge part of populat musics future and shutting down Lala is kinda crazy.
I am sure there is more to this story than has been told. Itunes were in a great position to have a serious effect on streaming and save it from bleeding mp3 sales. Even if it was losing money, who cares??
Once streaming is really in business I would absolute sign up with Lala and those songs i really love click thru and purchase from itunes.
I honestly don’t get this one at all….
