Damn. Damn. Damn. Damn. Damn.

On May 30th I have a ticket to see the great Aaron Neville at Town Hall. And on May 30th, The-Dream and Kelly Rowland are playing Best Buy.

Damn Damn Damn

If it was just Kelly I would go with Aaron if only because I already have a ticket for Aaron. But The-Dream is the closest thing we have to Babyface in 2013 and I really really want to check him out. But an 8pm start, and Best Buy is notorious for late starts, if there is an opening act it is gonna end at midnight. On a Friday, maybe but on a Thursday I can’t get home at 2am.

Plus, black shows at BB King and elsewhere are a bitch to get in. They thing we’re all Bloods or something.

But it’s The-Dream, man. The man who wrote “Umbrella” and “1 Plus 1” –I can always skip Kelly, write.

So that would mean I am skipping Aaron Neville to watch The-Dream perform an opening act.

Kelly is pretty great any way. And I am seeing Beyonce in August (if she doesn’t cancel due to pregnancy) so it would make a dance bookend. But I am seeing Aaron and Townhall will be done by 1030pm.

No way to do both of course but… nah, The-Dream will go on at 9… but if he goes on at 830? Then we could be out by 11. Plus it shouldn’t be that young a show so who wants to be up at midnight.

I will probably add a ticket to the Best Buy gig and decide when I’m closer to the date.

I really love The-Dream, he is a guy who should be seen but Aaron Neville is even great. Even greater and pushing a pretty good album as well. I am so lousy at decisions.

No I’m sticking with… arrghh! No, I want… I just put on the latest Neville, produced by Keith Richards and it is so good.

Damn damn DAMN
