Happy Birthday Dave Edmunds
Part of the Nick Lowe, Elvis Costello trillogy. From 1970’s “I Hear You Knocking” to 1979’s “Girls Talk”, Edmunds had some nift career.
Wearing many hats in the New Wave scene, Dave Edmunds always had that rockabilly 50s sound. Way cool in a stream of same fish.
Bet Nessing is a huge fan. That trio attracted the artsy hipsters and either you headed with them in the clean cut Art New Wave scene or you take a left as I did intot the hardcore punk scene.
Dave Edmunds is now 66.
