rock nyc’s first foray into concert presentations is a small gig at 54 Crosby Street Storefront on Thursday, starring the wonderful rock and roller, the finely voiced, passionate in every single thing she does Cheri Dahl. Needless to add, I love Cheri’s music or I wouldn’t have recommend her to start with. If you wanna be a part of this evening buy a ticket now!  http://rocknyc-forswinginglovers.eventbrite.com/#

Monday – Ghostface Killah – Gramercy Park – Sure, I wasn’t crazy about 12 Reasons To Die either, but maybe it makes more sense in performance.

Tuesday – Boz Scaggs – The Apollo Theater – All the way from Memphism expect some Mink DeVille covers.

Wednesday –  Eric Burdon And The Animals – Highline Ballroom – The great English rock band, ask for “San Franciscan Nights”. Don’t ask questions, just do it.

Thursday – Paramore – Hammerstein Ballroom – I’ll be rushing from  Cheri Dahl’s show back to midtown for this, the return of the year.

Friday – Sheila E -BB King – Still espousing the glamorous life, still the sort of drummer Prince could go for.

Saturday – The Killers – Still pushing the naff Battle Born, but live it shouldn’t much matter for these Arena rockers.

Sunday – Peter Yarrow – Highline Ballroom – “Puff The Magic Dragon” with no drug subtext? Should be on this family friendly evening
