Many years ago I saw Wu Tang Clan at Summer Jam. ODB was still alive then and the entire clan dissed the radio station to their face and played a storming set. Unlike, say, Nicki Minaj, who reacted to being made fun of by a Hot 97 DJ by refusing to actually get on stage and do her job. Personally, I am about sick of Weezy and his pathetic progreny. if anybodies time has come and gone, this is surely that. Right?
Over the years I’ve been to some pretty awesome Summer Jams, Snoop, Dre and Eminem one year, Fitty getting himsef booed off stage another, and always an impressive array of stars.
But after the 2012 debacle, Weezy sure ain’t putting up any of his talent and while the promise of the biggest guest stars in Hip Hop might have you guessing, I think even Jay-Z won’t be enough, maybe Jay-Z and Kweezy but there ain’t no Drake and there ain’t no Rick Ross in Hut 97’s future now is there? Plus they will only come on down for a shout out.
So let’s take a look t this years line up for the 20th!Summer Jam and grade the stars purely on star power… ready? Holla back
Wu-Tang Clan – Sure, they were huge once. now they can sell out Highline with ease – C+
Miguel – Maybe 4th or 3rd on the bill for this r&b up and comer. No better for sure – C-

Chris Brown – he can sell out half of any arena you care to mention. That makes 10,000 seats. Metlife fits 82,000 -say 60,000 if they cordone off behind the sate. Say 50,0000 if you prefer – B-
Wale – wale is the guy you don’t recognize who takes the mic for a verse during a ross concert – D+

2 Chainz – One album to his name. It is a dog with fleas.
French Montana, – Journey nab irrelevance – D-
A$AP Rocky – Just opened for Rihanna, can sell out Webster Hall if he only plays one night – D-
