Rock NYC. I write, review, interview. Even have a column for reviews in my school newspaper and interviewed my hero. But what was I doing before it?
I was a bystander in the music scene. Telling friends about bands and investing in iTunes and wishing I could ask them a question, just one. I’m doing that and more. An impressed literature teacher and jealous friends and even more jealous enemies pretty much all know about my writing. Some don’t care and some are ecstatic. RockNYC has changed my life and my position in the music scene.
I have no idea where I’d be today if I didn’t write for Rock NYC. Probably going to concerts and just watching the scene evolve. But now, I’m the one that’s part of the evolution.
