1. Heaven's Just A Sin Away – Kelly Willis – The Kendalls, a father and daughter duo had a hit with this, so, as Bruce Robison put it wednesday night, "Country right?" Early 1990s Kelly version doesn't have the edge to her tone she does now but it is pretty awesome in an early Rosanne Cash way – Grade: A-
2. Angry All The Time – Tim Mcgraw – OK, we can all agree Tim is as dull and deep as wwater in a ditch, so why doesn't he sound it here? because it is a greta great song – Grade: A-
3. Not Forgotten You – Bruce Robison – As pure a country song as I've ever heard – Grade: B+
4. The Heart That Time Forgot – Kelly Willis – Off my fave country album of the 1990s, Kelly is undaunted in the swing of her sorrows – Grade: A
5. Cat House – Pissed Jeans – Debatably the best song on the best punk rock album of the year so far, the guitaris insane. It sounds like a cat being raped – Grade: A
6. Do The Strand – The Bryan Ferry Orchestra – Useless? Maybe. but fun swing interpretations of a roxy classic – Grade: B
7. Prelude – Foals – Did I say Elbow? I meant radiohead – Grade: C+
8.What Would Willie Do – Gary Allan – Answer? He would take a deep breath – Grade: B
9.Swoon – Timeflies – Surprisingly adept hip hop rock – Grade: B
